A new message from Editor-in- Chief
The IAJAA enters it 6th year, and the editorial board have accepted and published more than one 100 reviewed papers from many of Arab countries with few from other countries.
The editorial board have done the best to ensure publishing high quality of papers. The IAJAA has provided an ideal forum for dissemination research data and review studies on all aspects of antimicrobial agents , occurrence and treatment of microbial infections and evolution of antimicrobial resistance in the Arab region. To ensure rapid publication of papers , we aim at completing the review process for each paper within one month of initial submission.
We are pleased to inform you that many of published papers in The IAJAA are cited more than five times and few numbers more than 10 times. High citation of a published paper is an important measurement of its high value as reference paper.
Beginning in 2015, we started to cover the high cost of publication by asking authors to pay the minimal cost of editing and publication since we have no more available source of funding.
The IAJAA is indexed currently in many important international databases, and we are aiming to be indexed again into Elsevier Scopus. It is currently very difficult for any new medical or scientific journal to be indexed in PubMed or Scopus before many years of continuous publication and support of an international publishing company. There are about 2000 journals waiting to be indexed in Scopus alone.
We would like to express our appreciation to all reviewers and authors who have contributed to publish papers in The IAJAA. It is their generous contributions of time and effort that made this journal possible to exit over the years.
